老人牆

這是近十年來台灣運動攀登發展最具代表性的一片岩壁。過去這裡的岩質鬆動，被認為並不適合 攀爬，多年以來一直不受青睐。直到2007年間，張登榮召集友人帶著他們的電鑽和期望，竟開發 出一整片絕佳的運動路線。路線上接連不斷的攀登動作，將徹底挑戰你的耐力極限。目前仍有部 分路線會有落石的風險，但是隨著攀爬次數越來越多，應該會逐漸改善。總之，在這裡不論是先 鋒攀登、確保、甚至只是在底下走動，都要隨時注意落石的危險。這附近有大型廳鳩的巢穴，晴 朗的夏日裡，就可看見牠們在天上翱翔的身影。從地下二樓再往右(北)走即可到達老人牆。上午 時段所有路線都會曬到太陽，中午過後才有陰影遮蔽。
This wall represents the most significant new development for sport climbing in Taiwan in the past decade. Previously thought to be too loose for climbing, for years the wall lay ignored and unclimbed. Then, in 2007, Deng-Jung Chang and friends brought their drill and a vision, and created an impressive row of excellent sport climbs to challenge your endurance with nice, sustained movement. There are still sections of loose rock on some of the routes, but with traffic this should improve. Meanwhile, be aware of the possibility of rocks breaking whether you are leading, belaying, or just hanging out at the base. Some large raptors nest nearby and can be seen soaring overhead on calm summer days. Approach as for the Basement, and continue past the Rodeo Clown area. All routes receive morning sun and go into the shade around midday.
